Esther Wong is a registered psychologist. She completed her Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at the University of New South Wales and her Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at University of Wollongong.
During and since her postgraduate training, she has worked in numerous mental health settings including university clinics, both child/adolescent & adult community mental health services, hospital specialist services and non-government agencies.
She has experience in providing assessment and treatment to people with various mental health issues, and in providing therapy to people with relationship problems, adjustment issues or parenting issues. She is a bilingual psychologist and has been able to extend her psychological services to people from the Chinese communities namely Cantonese and Mandarin speaking.
She predominantly uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as the treatment approach to help clients identify their goals in therapy and achieve treatment outcomes.
She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and is a board-approved supervisor for provisional psychologists.
